BIOGRAPHY

Oliver Heathman has over 15 years of experience in the metals and mining sector across research, consulting, and leadership at Wood Mackenzie. He leads the teams covering base metal, precious metal, and battery raw material asset-level research across mine costs and emissions benchmarking, with expertise spanning lithium, nickel sulphate, cobalt, vanadium, and steel alloys.

Oliver joined Wood Mackenzie following the takeover of Roskill, where he established the sustainability and cost analysis division. He was previously the founding member and Head of Mining Research at Metals Focus, developing mine cost and supply-side forecasting for gold, silver, and PGMs.
