Paul Wöhrlin is a researcher in the Water Treatment and Separation group at Fraunhofer ISE, where his work focuses on the development of electrochemical processes for selective ion separation. His research places particular emphasis on electrochemical ion pumping for lithium extraction from geothermal sources.
