BIOGRAPHY

Steffen Garbe is the Co-Founder of Phlair, a Munich-based climate technology company advancing electrochemical Direct Air Capture, founded in 2022. The company has since grown to a team of over thirty, secured more than €30 million in funding, and established carbon removal partnerships with organisations including Google, JPMorgan Chase, and Stripe.

Steffen's work centres on Phlair's proprietary Electrochemical Hydrolyser technology, which enables acid-base generation and closed-loop chemical supply for direct lithium extraction.
